***FIELD RULES - IMPORTANT***
Quick note: We value a longtime relationship with Fairfax High & our support for the school is essential to the operation of our program. We MUST follow all of the rules of the permit & whatever policies the school chooses in the best interest of their facilities. Cooperation is REQUIRED by all...anything else may result in games/ practices or other activities being stopped immediately (or cancelled altogether). Any serious issues may result in the school cancelling our permits indefinitely (or permanently).
SPECTATOR AREA - Only players, coaches, referees may be on the football field (exceptions listed below). If you are a spectator for a game, you MUST stay within the designated spectator areas as defined by the region.
- 10U Games on football field running North-South: Spectators may stand in the football endzone approx 3 yards back from the field "touch line".No pets/ dogs on school property. Spectators may NOT stand in the area behind the "goal line"...not even on hte track behind the goal line as this can become very distracting to a goalkeeper & players.
NO PETS/ DOGS - Leave the dog at home. This is a condition of our permit that we MUST follow.
FOOD/DRINK - Only water is permitted on the football field/ turf (no food, fruit, sports drinks, gatorade, juices, sodas, coffee, etc) Snacks are ok in the stands, grass field, etc....PLEASE, after your game is complete, leave the field quickly so the next game can start on time...perfect meeting place is the stands where the team can do snacks.
BASEBALL FIELDS - Noone is allowed on the baseball or softball infields. Kids love to play on there, but absolutely not allowed. Please watch for this as we almost lost a permit over it a couple of years ago.
PLAYER RULE - SOCKS & SHINGUARDS - All players MUST be wearing shinguards/ soccer socks.
PLAYER RULE - NO EARRINGS - Please remove all jewelry from your child at home. No earrings (not even "taped up"), no bracelets, no necklaces, etc. They will NOT be allowed to play...this not just an AYSO rule, it's a FIFA rule for the SAFETY of players.
PARKING (SATURDAY) -Parking entrance off Fairfax @ Clinton. Park in designated parking spots only. Do not park in an unmarked parking spot because you see other doing it. They could get towed & this will cause problems. Parking in fire lanes or blocking gates is also not only not allowed, it's a safety issue for everyone.
PARKING (SUNDAY) - No school parking due to flea market. Please also try to give yourself ample time to park and find your way around the school so that you can be at the fields 30 minutes prior to your match. We have a large number of matches to play, so we want to avoid delays as much as possible.
